Polyjet 3D printing technology

Polyjet

Technique of printing

PolyJet 3D printing is similar to inkjet printing. Instead of injecting ink drops on paper, 3D printers inject layers of photopolymer liquid onto a production tray.

The 3D printer injects and instantly hardens the UV of liquid photopolymer droplets.

It combines several materials into a single model, injecting multiple materials simultaneously allowing to get different levels of shore.

This means that for a single printed prototype, you can position multiple materials according to your choice, and even combine two or three materials to create composite digital materials with different and predictable properties.

It also permits to combine rigid and rubber materials.
